D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 59-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - Clip Point type with Stone Washed matte finish. The ideal cutting edge along its entire length provides exceptional cutting performance with full force, transferring power to the blade's tip, guarantees better point strength. Despite the thickness, the full flat grind provides excellent cutting performance combined with superior durability. The low descending guard prevents fingers from slipping on the blade while working. The cutting edge starts with a small notch, which perfectly facilitates sharpening.
Handle - made of Canvas Micarta laminate (pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin), screwed directly to steel, provides a virtually indestructible construction. The advantage of Canvas Micarta is its insensitivity to weather conditions, resistance to chemicals and mechanical damage, as well as its low weight. The rounded shape of the covers eliminates sharp edges, which have been heavily textured to improve grip. The unique ergonomics of the Handle makes it possible to make powerful cuts, such as when plundering branches, without worrying about the knife slipping out of your hand. On the back of the Handle lanyard hole, a hole for attaching a cord.
Sheath - made of waterproof Cordura®. The snap-fastened holster secures the knife well against falling out. Allows attachment under the straps of the M.O.L.L.E. (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) system, or on the belt. In the lower part of the petla for attaching the sheath to the thigh.
