By adding 1.0% manganese (Mn), 0.6% nickel (Ni) and 1.0% silicon (Si) to 3Cr13, an improvement in strength and hardness in the range of 52-55 HRC was achieved. Easy to sharpen, widely used in the production of knives, scissors and medical equipment.
Blade - slim and extremely sharp Dagger type with a double-edged symmetrical blade, finished with an effective Two Tone method, the cuts are covered with a black coating, the rest is satin-finished. Plain blade, with a raised flat grind, ensuring excellent cutting properties. There is a false edge at the top of the blade. This gives the knife excellent piercing properties while maintaining high strength. The blade deploys and retracts via a knurled slider that requires a certain amount of force to overcome the resistance of the spring. The opening mechanism allows for smooth opening for both right- and left-handed users.
