3,55 €TG1091, guide from the Grinder series from Taidea. Designed to help maintain a constant 20° angle when sharpening on flat stone or diamond sharpeners. Recommended for knives with a blade width over 0.75"/ 19.05 mm.
After mounting the guide on the spine of the blade, a defined angle is obtained. The part of the guide in contact with the abrasive layer of the sharpener is made of ceramic, protecting it against damage during use.
Sharpening method:1. Move the blade back and forth at a single speed by pressing it lightly against the sharpening surface.
2. Use the entire surface of the stone when sharpening.
3. The stone should be moist when sharpening.
4. When sharpening appears with burrs, change over to the other side.
5. Finally, clean the edge of the blade and the whetstone carefully.
